The Role:
- Manage all M&E activities across allocated projects from design through to completion
- Appoint, coordinate, and manage MEP consultants, designers, and subcontractors
- Develop and manage MEP design programmes and technical submission schedules
- Ensure design information is delivered in line with construction programme and procurement timelines
- Coordinate M&E integration with construction teams (BWICs, services routes, key install dates)
- Review MEP designs to ensure compliance with specifications, regulations, and coordination across disciplines
- Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure quality and programme targets are achieved
- Chair and attend technical/design meetings with consultants and supply chain
- Manage RFIs, DARs, and sample approvals through to close-out
- Support estimating teams by identifying risks and gaps in tender designs
- Oversee BREEAM requirements and ensure compliance from all MEP parties
- Provide technical and commercial support to the commercial team (VE, variations, final accounts)
- Manage commissioning, validation, and handover processes including O&M manuals and as-built documentation
- Ensure compliance with H&S, building regulations, and ISO standards

The Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years’ experience as a Building Services Manager or MEP Contracts Manager
- Strong experience managing M&E packages across construction projects
- Good understanding of the full construction process and project lifecycle
- Proven track record managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage client expectations and present to senior stakeholders
- Strong technical knowledge of building services systems
- CSCS / CSR Card (essential)
- Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/BTEC or equivalent)
