We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of electrical building services projects across commercial and industrial sectors within Sheffield, Nottingham, Leeds and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing projects from initial contract award through to completion and final handover, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full project management of electrical building services installations from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
  • Manage project programmes, budgets, procurement schedules and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate site management teams, electrical supervisors, subcontractors and direct labour.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual requirements, programme milestones and financial targets.
  • Monitor project performance and provide regular progress reporting to senior management and clients.
  • Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Attend project meetings, design reviews and progress meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
  • Oversee health & safety compliance and ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures and industry regulations.
  • Review project variations, valuations and commercial performance alongside the commercial team.
  • Support commissioning, testing, snagging and final project handover activities.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience managing electrical building services projects within commercial and industrial environments.
  • Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager, Senior Electrical Project Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of electrical installations, project delivery and contract management.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and site teams simultaneously.
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and variations.
  • SMSTS qualification preferred.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent).
  • Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.
  • Must have experience beyond small retail or refit-only environments.
  • Based within commutable distance of Sheffield or surrounding areas.
