Job Title: Senior Mechanical Estimator Location: Cambridge Salary: £65,000 Per Annum + Package The Role: – Reporting to the Estimating Manager – Preparing enquiries for equipment and specialist subcontract packages including selection of supply chain members. – Attending and contributing at pre, mid and post tender meetings. – Reviewing tender quotes received from suppliers and specialist subcontractors for compliancy and best value. – Liaising with Estimating Manager and specialist subcontractors to ensure fully inclusive bid. – Attending site surveys. – Reviewing documentation for presentation. – Following up tenders and assist with securing projects. – Developing and maintaining professional working relationships with clients and supply chain. – Attending handover meetings with the contracts team once projects are secured. The Company: – A long-established M&E contractor with a strong reputation in the building services industry. – Over 50 years of experience delivering high-quality mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) installations. – Annual turnover of £55m – Works in the commercial, healthcare and education sectors.
