The Role:
- Preparing accurate cost estimates for mechanical building services projects.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation to determine project scope.
- Producing detailed take-offs for HVAC, plumbing and mechanical systems.
- Preparing competitive tender submissions and supporting documentation.
- Working closely with Directors, Project Managers and Clients throughout the pre-construction phase.
- Identifying value engineering opportunities and potential project risks.
- Managing multiple tenders whilst ensuring deadlines are met.
- Working on projects with values up to £2m.
- Full-time office-based role.
- Working hours of 08:00 – 16:30.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Will have 3+ years' experience working as a Mechanical Estimator.
- Strong mechanical bias with experience in HVAC, plumbing and building services projects.
- M&E Estimators will also be considered.
- Will have experience pricing projects up to £2m in value.
- Will be able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Will have strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Will be proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
- Will work well under pressure and be capable of managing multiple tenders simultaneously.
- Will have excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Will be happy working in a full-time office-based environment.
