Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager

Salary: £60,000 per annum + package

The Role
- Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical works across multiple new build projects (£500k-£3m)
- Oversee planning, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems
- Deliver heating, hot & cold water, ventilation, and renewable technologies (heat pumps, UFH)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, quality, and design standards
- Coordinate subcontractors and internal delivery teams
- Manage project budgets, procurement, and resource planning
- Produce project documentation, progress reports, and O&M manuals
- Chair site meetings and technical reviews
- Enforce internal processes (Price Worx) and approve invoices weekly
- Provide weekly progress reports to the Contracts Manager
- Proactively problem‑solve to keep projects on programme

The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 5 years\’ experience managing mechanical services on new build projects
- Strong technical knowledge of heating, ventilation, water systems, and renewables
- Confident reading drawings and managing installations on site
- Knowledge of Building Regulations, CDM, and industry standards (CIBSE, BESA)
- Experience working under JCT and Design & Build contracts
- Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
