Job Title: Mechanical Estimator
Location: London
Salary: £80,000 per annum (DOE)
The Role:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for Mechanical Building Services projects.
- Pricing MEP tenders with values up to £15 million.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Producing enquiries for suppliers and specialist subcontract packages.
- Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Identifying value engineering opportunities and commercial risks.
- Liaising with clients, consultants and the supply chain to produce competitive tenders.
- Working closely with the pre-construction team to ensure timely tender submissions.
- Attending site visits and tender meetings where required.
- Supporting project handovers following successful tenders.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the Building Services industry.
- Experience working for a Mechanical or M&E Contractor.
- Experience pricing commercial Mechanical projects.
- Trimble Estimation software experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing and mechanical building services.
- Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Able to manage multiple tenders and work to deadlines.
