The Role:
- Prepare detailed Mechanical/Plumbing estimates for residential projects (£5-15M).
- Hold meetings with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Assist in preparing labour histograms, draft programs, cash flow forecasts, and procurement schedules.
- Collaborate with the Electrical Estimation Team for joint bids.
- Review specifications, schematics, and drawings.
- Produce accurate cost estimates and take-offs, staying updated on material and labour prices.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Support the contracts manager, commercial team, and supervisors on live projects.
- Experience in high-rise residential and design & build schemes required.
- Proficiency in estimation software such as Quickscale & Extreme Estimating preferred but not essential.
