Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Project Managers Location: Guernsey, Channel Islands Salary: Up to £75,000 DOE + Relocation Package Employment Type: Permanent About the Company A leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering high-quality building services solutions across the Channel Islands and the UK is seeking experienced M&E Project Managers to join their expanding team. The company is recognised for its technical excellence and strong track record across prestigious commercial, residential, and hospitality developments. The Opportunity This is a permanent position offering a salary up to £75,000, plus full relocation support for the right candidate. Your first major assignment will involve managing the full M&E delivery for a multi-million-pound, high-end hotel new build — a flagship development that will set new standards for quality, sustainability, and guest experience on the island. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage the full M&E scope of works from design and coordination through to installation, commissioning, and handover. * Develop and manage project budgets, cost plans, schedules, and resource allocations. * Coordinate with internal mechanical and electrical teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure full building services integration. * Ensure all works comply with building regulations, industry standards, and health & safety requirements. * Oversee procurement of all major M&E plant, equipment, and materials. * Provide leadership, technical guidance, and support to engineers and site teams. * Manage quality control, testing, commissioning, and system handover. * Prepare project reports, attend client and contractor meetings, and maintain excellent client relationships. Skills & Experience Required * Proven experience delivering M&E building services projects, ideally within commercial, hospitality, or residential sectors. * Strong technical understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems. * Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to strict programme deadlines. * Relevant qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (HNC/HND/Degree). * Experience with M&E coordination, design management, or BIM is advantageous. * Track record of delivering projects in the region of £5m+ desirable.
