About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established mechanical building services contractor delivering high-quality HVAC solutions to commercial and industrial clients. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to manage projects from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple HVAC contracts from inception to completion
  • Plan, execute, and deliver projects in line with client expectations
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies
  • Control project budgets, programmes, and resources to ensure profitability and timely delivery
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain strong working relationships
  • Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and performance
  • Lead, mentor, and manage project teams
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and risk assessments

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within mechanical building services (HVAC)
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical project delivery
  • Solid understanding of health & safety and industry standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
  • Proficient with project management tools and software
  • Minimum 3 years’ Contracts Management experience (required)
  • HVAC / Mechanical Building Services experience (preferred)
  • HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (preferred)
  • SMSTS or IOSH certification (preferred)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
