About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established mechanical building services contractor delivering high-quality HVAC solutions to commercial and industrial clients. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to manage projects from inception through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple HVAC contracts from inception to completion
- Plan, execute, and deliver projects in line with client expectations
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies
- Control project budgets, programmes, and resources to ensure profitability and timely delivery
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain strong working relationships
- Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and performance
- Lead, mentor, and manage project teams
- Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and risk assessments
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within mechanical building services (HVAC)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical project delivery
- Solid understanding of health & safety and industry standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
- Proficient with project management tools and software
- Minimum 3 years’ Contracts Management experience (required)
- HVAC / Mechanical Building Services experience (preferred)
- HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (preferred)
- SMSTS or IOSH certification (preferred)
- Full UK Driving Licence
