A reputable M&E Subcontractor is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Manager to manage the delivery of electrical services projects from concept through to final handover. The role sits within a business offering strong support across commercial, procurement, and design functions, enabling efficient and controlled project delivery.

Projects are typically valued up to £10 million and delivered across Commercial, MOD, MOJ, Healthcare, and Education sectors throughout the South and London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage electrical projects from inception, design coordination, and procurement through to commissioning and handover
  • Deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget
  • Work collaboratively with procurement, commercial, and design teams
  • Manage electrical subcontractors and suppliers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and commercial reporting alongside the commercial team
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and industry regulations
  • Chair and attend internal and external project meetings
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and final handover documentation
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within M&E or building services
  • Strong technical understanding of electrical systems
  • Experience delivering projects from inception to handover, including projects up to £10 million
  • Exposure to Commercial, MOD, MOJ, Healthcare, or Education projects (desirable)
  • Strong organisational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercially astute with sound contractual knowledge
  • Flexibility to travel across the South and London
