Location: East Finchley, North London

Salary: £70K + Package

The Role:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of all electrical site activities on a high-end residential project near East Finchley.
  • Oversee, coordinate, and successfully deliver electrical installation works in line with programme, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Manage site labour, specialist subcontractors, materials, plant, and equipment to ensure works are delivered efficiently and on schedule.
  • Ensure all electrical works are carried out to the highest standard, with full compliance to RAMS, site safety plans, and company quality procedures.
  • Maintain daily site records, including labour allocation, progress, delays, accidents, near misses, and additional works.
  • Manage site-based procurement, weekly material ordering, and coordination with the Site Stores Manager.
  • Monitor material usage to minimise waste and ensure cost-effective installation practices.
  • Attend site coordination meetings, M&E progress meetings, and daily huddles with the client, main contractor, and other trades.
  • Produce regular progress reports, including photographic updates, whilst maintaining accurate records of site instructions and variations.

  • Head office based in Northern Ireland with an established London presence.
  • Employs approximately 100 staff.
  • Current annual turnover of circa £55m.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience working as an Electrical Site Manager or similar site management role.
  • Proven experience delivering high-end residential electrical projects valued up to £5m.
  • Strong understanding of electrical installations, testing, commissioning, and quality assurance.
  • Holds a Black CSCS Managers Card with SMSTS (SSSTS considered; HNC/HND advantageous).
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing subcontractors, direct labour, and multiple work fronts.
  • Able to read and interpret construction drawings and coordinate works effectively with other trades.
