The Role:
- Review and analyse tender documentation, including raising RFIs with the client
- Prepare and manage enquiries with the supply chain
- Conduct accurate take-offs in line with standard estimating conventions
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure the most suitable offers are included
- Prepare detailed tender submissions for internal adjudications
- Present cost breakdowns, programme durations, and risk assessments at adjudication meetings
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of tenders
- Attend project handover meetings with the operations team
- Work closely with colleagues across disciplines to ensure integrated, competitive bids

The Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience in a similar Electrical Estimator role with an M&E contractor or main contractor’s M&E division
- Is preferably qualified via apprenticeship or to C&G/ONC level (or equivalent)
- Has strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify and manage risks
- Possesses a team-focused mindset with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Can confidently manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines
- Is proactive in suggesting value-engineered solutions for cost/time efficiency
- Lives within a commutable distance of Kent
