Salary: £60,000 Per annum

The Role:

  • Review and analyse tender documentation, including raising RFIs with the client
  • Prepare and manage enquiries with the supply chain
  • Conduct accurate take-offs in line with standard estimating conventions
  • Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure the most suitable offers are included
  • Prepare detailed tender submissions for internal adjudications
  • Present cost breakdowns, programme durations, and risk assessments at adjudication meetings
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of tenders
  • Attend project handover meetings with the operations team
  • Work closely with colleagues across disciplines to ensure integrated, competitive bids

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has experience in a similar Electrical Estimator role with an M&E contractor or main contractor’s M&E division
  • Is preferably qualified via apprenticeship or to C&G/ONC level (or equivalent)
  • Has strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify and manage risks
  • Possesses a team-focused mindset with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Can confidently manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines
  • Is proactive in suggesting value-engineered solutions for cost/time efficiency
  • Lives within a commutable distance of Kent
