As a Ductwork Project Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of ductwork installation projects from design to handover. This includes accurate on-site measurement and pricing, as well as producing 2D and 3D CAD designs to support project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site visits to carry out precise measurements of ductwork installations.
  • Prepare accurate pricing and cost estimates based on site measurements.
  • Create detailed ductwork system designs using 2D and 3D CAD software.
  • Liaise with project managers, estimators, and site teams to ensure coordinated design and execution.
  • Review project specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Assist with preparing material take-offs and procurement schedules.
  • Identify and resolve potential design or installation conflicts early in the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain records of changes, updates, and revisions throughout the design and pricing process.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a ductwork or mechanical building services environment.
  • Proficient in using 2D and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and ductwork design principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially when measuring and pricing.
  • Ability to work independently on-site and in an office environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Valid UK driving licence (Essential).
