Job Title: Commercial Manager (M&E) Location: Sittingbourne, Kent Salary: £90K – £100K (DOE) The Role: • Full-time role for an experienced Commercial Manager to support business growth • Oversee the commercial management of M&E packages from pre-construction through to final account • Manage procurement of subcontractors, suppliers, and specialist M&E service providers • Prepare valuations, undertake cost forecasting, manage variations, and produce clear reports for senior management • Maintain budgetary control, cashflow management, and risk mitigation strategies • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery • Office-based in Sittingbourne with optional hybrid working The Company: • 18+ years of experience in residential new build and refurbishment projects • Strong pipeline of projects across London for 2025 and beyond • Specialises in high-rise residential schemes, domestic fit-outs, and district heat networks • Employs 40+ direct staff and continuing to expand The Ideal Candidate: • Demonstrated experience as a Commercial Manager / M&E Quantity Surveyor on projects valued at £20m+ • Strong expertise in mechanical and electrical services within high-rise residential schemes • In-depth knowledge of M&E systems, contracts, procurement, and commercial processes • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Sage experience advantageous What You’ll Get: • Up to £100K salary (DOE) • 28 days holiday (excluding bank holidays) • Hybrid working optional • Company pension • All expenses covered • Ongoing training and professional development Process: • Apply for the job • We’ll contact you to discuss your background and the role • If it’s a match, we’ll submit your CV for consideration • Interview process: 1–2 stages • If successful, you’ll receive an offer and join the team
