We’re Vinca – an independent, B-Corp certified wine company bringing organic Sicilian wine to cans and aluminium bottles across the UK and beyond. You’ll find us on the shelves of Tesco, M&S and on board some of Europe’s leading airlines, as well as at festivals, tastings and events up and down the country.
We’re a small, ambitious team building a brand that feels like golden hour in a can: relaxed, modern, social and a little bit sunny even on a grey Tuesday. Now we’re looking for a Social Content Creator to help us show up online with that same energy consistently, creatively and strategically.
This is a hybrid role, split between creating content and co-ordinating our social output. You’ll own the day-to-day content for our social channels (mainly Instagram and TikTok), setting the agenda, planning the calendar and making thumb-stopping content yourself – as well as collaborating with photographers and other creators within a set budget.
A big part of this role is bringing the Vinca founder story to life: you’ll work closely with the founders to capture honest, behind-the-scenes moments and founder-led storytelling that shows what it really takes to build a modern wine brand – and why Vinca exists in the first place.
You’ll be the person who makes sure Vinca shows up in the right way at the right moments: from big cultural events and seasonal moments, to highlighting our key retail partners (Tesco, M&S etc.), to supporting our trade team at tastings and events. It’s a hands-on role in an early-stage start-up, with real input into our overall brand strategy, messaging and growth.
What you’ll be doing
- Content & social strategy
- Own the social content calendar across key channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn support where needed).
- Plan content around business goals (launches, partnerships, key listings, trade priorities) and cultural moments (seasons, calendar events, relevant trends).
- Bring proactive ideas for always-on content that grows our community, drives engagement, reacts to trends and keeps Vinca feeling relevant.
- Content creation & production
- Shoot and edit short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Stories, behind-the-scenes) and stills (product, lifestyle, event content).
- Confidently appear on camera yourself when needed, and know when to put the spotlight on our founders – helping them tell the Vinca story in a natural, engaging way.
- Plan and film founder-led content (interviews, Q&As, behind-the-scenes, “day in the life”, story-led pieces) that brings our mission, values and personality to life.
- Create simple graphics, social assets and captions that feel on-brand and scroll-stopping.
- Brief and manage photographers, videographers and external content creators, working to a set budget and clear deliverables.
- Community, partners & events
- Create content that heroes our key partners (Tesco, M&S, etc.) – from shelf shots and POS content to fun “shop with me” style videos.
- Support the team at trade tastings, store activations and events, capturing content on the road with a social-first mindset.
- Help build and nurture our online community – jumping into comments, DMs and reposting UGC where needed.
- Performance & optimisation
- Track how content is performing and regularly share simple, actionable insights with the team.
- Test new formats, timings, hooks and ideas, and feed learnings into the content strategy.
You’ll thrive in this role if you…
- Have proven experience creating social content for a brand, agency or as a successful creator (ideally 2+ years).
- Are confident in shooting and editing short-form video for Instagram and TikTok (CapCut, InShot, Premiere Pro, or similar).
- Understand how to create content that stops the scroll – strong hooks, storytelling, pacing, sound, trends.
- Are just as happy planning and organising (calendars, shoots, budgets) as you are being creative.
- Are comfortable working from home, from the office and out on the road – in bars, shops, events and the occasional vineyard.
- Love being part of shoots and events, talking to people and capturing real, in-the-moment content.
- Have a genuine interest in wine, food, culture and social media – and an eye for what feels current.
- Are proactive, organised and happy in a small, fast-moving start-up where things change quickly.
What we offer
- The chance to shape how a growing wine brand shows up online from an early stage.
- Real input into our brand strategy and messaging, not just “posting what you’re given”.
- A friendly, down-to-earth team that cares about doing things sustainably and thoughtfully.
- Hybrid working: a mix of office, home and on-the-road content days.
- Wine, of course – plus tastings, events and trips when we can.
