About Vinca
Vinca is an ambitious, sustainably minded wine company on a mission to shake up the wine industry. We make organic wine in Sicily, package it in planet-friendly aluminium bottles and cans, then bring it to people in the most convenient ways possible. The Vinca brand is about bringing that first sip feeling, wherever you are. We’re a proud, fast-growing B-Corp, and we want brilliant people to join us on the journey!
The Role
This is a hands-on role at the centre of the business, sitting across operations and finance. You’ll be part of the engine room, helping ensure our wine moves efficiently from Sicily through production and into customers’ hands, on time and in full.
You’ll take ownership of the supply chain and customer process, working closely with suppliers, logistics partners, and customers. This is a great opportunity to build a strong operational foundation in a growing startup and gain experience with systems like Xero and Unleashed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee the end-to-end supply chain from our winery in Sicily to our canning and bottling partners in the UK
- Provide regular reporting on stock cover and fast and slow movers to enable proactive action
- Work collaboratively with logistics partners to ensure stock levels match across all locations
- Own the full customer process from initial setup to final delivery, ensuring orders are delivered on time and in full
- Manage import and export requirements, customs documentation, and regulatory compliance
- Refine workflows with a focus on operational efficiency and sustainability
- Resolve inbound and outbound discrepancies, identifying root causes
- Act as a key point of contact for our winery, production sites, and customers
- Handle core finance operations including payment processing, invoice management, and reconciliation
This Role Is Perfect for You If You...
- Have 0 to 5 years of experience in supply chain, operations, or an FMCG business
- Are confident using Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Have a naturally analytical mindset and enjoy making data-driven decisions
- Are highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Approach problems proactively and stay calm under pressure
- Build strong relationships both internally and externally
- Experience with ERP or WMS systems is a plus, but not essential.
What You’ll Get
- Hands-on experience in a fast-growing startup
- Direct exposure to operations, finance, and the wider business
- A role you can shape as the company scales
- Perks include:
- Wine allowance
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Day off on your birthday
- Paid gym membership
- Hybrid working (minimum 3 days in the office)
- Guest list access to major UK music and sports events
