The role will act as the regional communications lead, closely aligned to global messaging and standards, while providing senior, trusted communications support to leaders in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • External Communications
  • Act as the regional press office lead for EMEA and the Americas with a primary focus on the UK market and support global media office management and monitoring.
  • Manage proactive and reactive media engagement in partnership with the Global media team and local PR agencies as required.
  • Provide reputation counsel to in‑market teams on emerging issues and marketing campaigns and launches, in line with Vinarchy’s Global Marketing code.
  • Ensure strong alignment between corporate, brand and regional messaging.
  • Internal Communications
  • Own and deliver EMEA & Americas internal communications, aligned to global strategy, tone and channel standards.
  • Lead local news generation and storytelling, ensuring key milestones, launches and business updates are captured and visible.
  • Manage regional channel execution (intranet, email, newsletters, town halls) in line with the agreed channel strategy.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted communications advisor to regional leaders.
  • Provide clear guidance, drafting and counsel on sensitive, complex or high‑profile communications.
  • Partner regional Managing Directors on media/event preparation and interview support.
  • Ensure communications elevate leadership credibility and reinforce organisational priorities.
  • Ways of Working & Best Practice
  • Operate as part of a single global communications ecosystem, not a standalone regional function.
  • Bring structure, judgement and prioritisation to a high‑volume environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of communications effectiveness and impact.
  • What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience in both internal and external communications (5+ years), with the ability to develop and deliver communication strategies across multiple channels and audiences.
  • Strong media relations and reputation management experience, including proactive communications, reactive issue management, and engagement with journalists, agencies and external stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and executives, providing trusted communications counsel, messaging support and guidance on sensitive or high‑profile matters.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a complex, multi‑region environment, balancing global communications frameworks with local market requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience leading change, transformation or integration communications, helping employees navigate organisational change and business priorities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively, build alignment and drive communications outcomes across multiple functions.
  • Background in FMCG, consumer goods, retail, healthcare, financial services or another highly regulated industry preferred, with an understanding of managing communications within complex regulatory environments.
  • Other Requirements
  • Occasional out of hours work may be required.
  • Relationship building and influencing skills.
