About the role
As the Tax & Finance Analyst, you will be required to assist the Tax Manager and Senior Tax Analyst in the management, preparation of tax returns and tax compliance. This is a 2 year fixed term contract.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist Tax Manager/Senior Tax Analyst in managing and meeting all filing deadlines of the group and payments of taxes
- Preparation of monthly information for VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, Intrastat returns
- Review the above prepared by external advisors, ready for Tax Manager sign off
- Preparation of all other tax returns required
- Assist with preparation of information for transfer pricing analysis and documentation for the intercompany transactions
- Preparation of monthly reconciliations of tax positions
- Monitor transactions and resolve issues arising from manual and system errors, as appropriate
- Working with other teams to manage zero rating of export and intracommunity movements
- Assist in statutory and tax reporting and audit
- Assist with tax compliance
- Assisting with any ad hoc queries, analyses and projects as required
- Continuously improve and document procedures and controls for all aspects of the role
