About the role
The National Account Executive will support the Senior National Account Manager / National Account Manager on the day-to-day account management of National & Regional On-Trade Groups within our diverse On-Trade account base.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reporting & Forecasting: Involved in forecasting for National Groups to meet Demand Control targets.
- Account Administration: Promotional tracking and pricing in Anaplan (Vinarchy P&P IT System).
- Business Development: Develop buyer relationships to identify future opportunities for promo activity and new listings.
- Budget management: Manage and deliver budgeted GP to National Group targets.
- Wider Team Support: Assist Channel Controller with ad hoc projects & reports, lend support to other On Trade National accounts as required.
- Support Trade Marketing Manager with activation information required.
- Analysis: Work with Category Insight Team across total customer portfolio to support listings and promotions.
- Activation & Execution: Understand customers' business model and promotional cycle to ensure our brands are showcased to drive volume and profit.
- Monitoring: Visit key customer outlets to ensure promotions are being implemented.
- Strategic Planning/Delivery: Execute and deliver the Business plan for identified targets.
What you'll bring:
- Experience: At least 1 year experience as a National Account Executive in an FMCG environment within On-Trade.
- Account Management: Previous experience of account/customer management ideally with direct P&L customer responsibility.
- Selling & Negotiation Skills: Demonstrate strong selling abilities to drive business growth and secure profitable deals with customers.
- Forecasting & Analysis: Ability to analyse data to build arguments for commercial benefit.
- Passion For Product: Exhibit genuine enthusiasm and knowledge about the products, ensuring compelling communication and customer engagement.
- Customer Focused: Prioritise customer needs and deliver exceptional service to build lasting relationships and loyalty.
- Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, teams, and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and understanding.
- Builds Proactive Working Relationships: Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, customers, and external partners to support mutual success.
