About the role

You will be responsible for forecasting and collaboration for assigned customers. You will be responsible for the accuracy of the near term (3 month) demand plan, and overall bias and volume forecast for the 3-to-36-month demand plan for assigned customers.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with Commercial Operations Manager, Customer Service Manager, Demand Controller and Demand Planning Manager to manage service levels and ongoing logistical solutions/optimisation for key assigned customers.
  • In conjunction with Customer Service and Warehouse & Distribution teams provide Supply Chain and Planning support and contact for assigned customers - daily, weekly and monthly interaction.
  • Evaluation of customer EPOS, stock and availability data on an ongoing basis to ensure accuracy and stability of demand plan.
  • Feedback, recommendations and solutions both internal and external with regards to service levels, on shelf availability, and depot availability in order to optimise sales and overall availability.
  • Monthly documented review for key customers.
  • Demand Plan reviewed, challenged, agreed and signed off with Commercial Team in line with the monthly S&OP process.
  • Review forecast accuracy on a monthly basis with outputs and recommendations to improve/stabilise on an ongoing basis.
  • Weekly reporting on EPOS, stock and availability data for key customers.
  • Monthly (or as agreed) meetings with key customer contacts to review and agree signed off promotional activity.
  • Evaluation of promotional activity and compliance to promotional calendar.

What You’ll Bring:

Experience: Proven Track record in Supply Chain, Demand Planning and Customer Collaboration. FMCG experience preferred- 1-3 years ideally.

Functional: S&OP Demand Planning process, Statistical forecasting tools, FMCG Businesses, IT Systems, Warehouse & Distribution operations, Strong Commercial Awareness.
