As part of the European S&OP team, Demand Control works with Commercial, Demand and Supply planning teams to balance demand and supply on the short-term horizon to provide best in class service to our customers. As Demand Control Manager, you will be accountable for the leadership of the Demand Control function, optimising the tactical (0-26 weeks) execution for the UK & EMEA business units, whilst managing 2 direct reports. You will be responsible for evaluating & improving Demand Control performance, providing analytical recommendations, insight and outcomes that will enhance organisational performance, whilst proactively responding to changes in the demand plan.

In this role, you will drive continuous improvement plans through demonstrating lean leadership with regards to Demand Control processes & techniques, reporting and action planning around key KPIs, including Availability, Demand Planning Forecast Performance and Working Capital risks. Please note, this is a fixed term contract until January 2027.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Working as the critical link between the Commercial business unit and The Park Supply Planning team, driving a customer first ethos at all times.
  • Accountability for all commercially driven production plan change requests, understanding financial and strategic implications.
  • Accountability for analysing and reporting demand and/or supply fluctuations within product lead times, implementing proactive action plans.
  • Communicating mid and long term identified issues, working collaboratively with Commercial Sales leads to agree allocation strategies when required.
  • Working collaboratively with Demand Planning to provide swift conclusive decision making to customer opportunities and significant promotional uplifts, ensuring existing commitments aren’t compromised, providing in-depth insight to future forecasts.
  • Reviewing and agreeing safety stock levels on a quarterly basis.
  • Accountability for the optimisation and execution of all NPD launches, in collaboration with Marketing Operations.
  • Working with Marketing Operations and Commercial Sales leads to manage product exit strategies to minimise working capital implications.
  • Accountability for mitigating Out Of Stocks through the weekly exceptions process, ensuring first class product availability.
  • Facilitating monthly management and resolution of slow-moving inventory.
  • Engaging at all levels of the business to ensure delivery of a consistent, robust and repeatable Tactical SO&P process, through engagement & communication with Senior Management Teams.
  • Continuous Improvement of all tactical processes and monthly cycle.

Essential Qualifications:

  • +5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain/or Operations role.

  • End to End Supply Chain experience.
