We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our team on a part time basis to cover a 12-month Maternity leave contract. This role is a hybrid position based out of our head office in Newton-le-Willows. The successful candidate will provide specialist insight, direction and operational excellence across the talent and people functions, co-creating the strategy and implementation that is right for Nichols plc and aligns to the ambitions and values of the business.

ROLE DUTIES:

  • Accountable for the end-to-end recruitment process (including on-boarding)
  • Confident in using direct sourcing searches, conducting research and using LinkedIn and other social media to attract future Vimto talent
  • Demonstrates a clear vision of what great talent looks like as well as how to find it and attract it across various locations in the UK, including areas where the talent pool may be more challenging to source
  • Ensures a smooth on-boarding process for all new starters
  • Builds an external talent pool through a variety of approaches, e.g. finding passive talent for hard-to-fill roles; building relationships with external groups; tapping into relevant careers fairs e.g. ex-military
  • Responsible for building future talent frameworks
  • Achieves best cost and identifies innovative sourcing and talent solutions
  • Identifies opportunities to continuously improve our approach to talent acquisition

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of successfully driving an agenda across the talent lifecycle
  • Previously worked as an in-house recruiter, having worked across a wide range of Functions
  • Proven experience of specialist and operational recruitment
  • Proven success in using direct sourcing methods to minimise agency usage
  • Experienced in managing and maintaining ATS
  • Highly honed selection and assessment skills (development and practitioner)
  • Experience of proactively managing the company brand and achievements in the external market
  • Building future talent pipelines
  • Experienced in developing and delivering training
  • Experience of developing career and development frameworks
  • Sound knowledge of relevant employment legislation
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Talent Acquisition role
