Villiers Hotel is a spectacular 18th Century 49-bedroom hotel situated in the heart of the historic market town of Buckingham. Villiers has undergone a major refurbishment to all front of house areas and The Old Town Hall which provides all the meeting, serviced offices and function space.

CHEF DE PARTIE - 40 hpw (full-time)

Up to £12.82 per hour

We are looking for a talented, motivated and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. If you have a genuine passion for food, take pride in delivering high-quality dishes and thrive in a busy kitchen environment, we would love to hear from you!

Working alongside our Head Chef and wider kitchen team, you will play an important role in delivering excellent food and memorable dining experiences for our guests, maintaining consistently high standards across all areas of the kitchen.

What will you be doing?

• Taking responsibility for your own section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards.

• Preparing, cooking and delivering dishes in line with our menus, recipes and presentation guidelines.

• Ensuring food is consistently delicious, well-presented and served in a timely manner.

• Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.

• Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene, health and safety, cleanliness and organisation.

• Monitoring stock levels, minimising waste and ensuring ingredients are stored correctly.

• Supporting and developing junior members of the kitchen team where required.

• Contributing ideas for menu development, seasonal specials and improvements to our food offering.

• Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure an excellent guest experience.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.

• A genuine passion for food, cooking and delivering quality.

• Good knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety standards.

• The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail.

• A positive, flexible and team-focused attitude.

• A willingness to learn, develop and contribute to the success of the kitchen.

• Relevant catering qualifications would be advantageous, although practical experience and the right attitude are equally valued.
