We’re now recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join our factory in Armitage. The successful applicant will be joining the existing team to control plant quality standards and norms, interfacing with all areas of plant production, assisting in the approval process of new product introductions, and playing a role in the continuing drive to reduce the cost of poor quality throughout the business. Key responsibilities of a Plant Quality Engineer include:

  • Product Auditing
  • Process Control Auditing
  • New Product Approval
  • Factory Process Checks
  • Incoming Component Checks
  • Liaison with the Production, Cross Category Quality Leaders, and Research & Development departments to overcome any problems related to the finished product
  • Review and implement quality improvement plans

An experienced operative within the ceramics industry would be preferred, though training would be provided to suitable candidates. The more exposure you’ve had to inspection and QA, the better. The job holder must have good written and verbal communication skills (English language skills).

General experience/knowledge base:
