Reporting to: Marketing Director

Working with the Marketing Director, wider local and central marketing teams, you will be responsible for activating the Global and UK & Ireland marketing strategy. You’ll be the central point for activating centrally driven marketing activities and delivering them to the UK market in the responsible channel. You’ll make sure that the local UK market gets the appropriate coverage and that centrally driven campaigns are adapted to suit the needs of our teams and customers.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with Group Brand & Activation to apply and leverage Global Marketing Campaigns & initiatives as relevant to the channel/country – implementing, driving the success and reporting progress and activity back into Marketing Director & Group colleagues
  • Execute NPI launches. Working with Group Brand & Activation and relevant Local Product Manager to implement launch strategy
  • Feed into group brand & activation local requirements for initiatives and campaigns
  • Adapt & translate centrally provided materials to execute group initiatives
  • Create local price list and relevant documents
  • Collect requirements for POS and customer specific materials
  • Provide support to the local sales teams to meet company targets through local country and customer campaigns, promotions, initiatives
  • Participate in customer reviews to collect understanding, insight & intelligence and feedback from periodical structured interviews and field visit with local sales.
  • Management of customer data lists through SFDC system and external data sources
  • Planning, management and execution of local events
  • Engages and manages relationships with marketing agencies, print, PR & media relationships (outside of specialist non-res) where needed to be employed locally to deliver activation campaigns

General Experience / Knowledge base:

  • Degree level education in relevant field or holding professional marketing qualification CIM / IDM preferred
  • Previous Marketing experience in related or parallel industry
  • Experience of working in a large organisation with Group & Local Marketing structure
