Villeroy & Boch, a world-leading lifestyle brand with a rich heritage dating back to 1748, is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Stock Controller to join our team in Bicester on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Opportunity: This is a dynamic role where you will be crucial to the smooth operation of our Villeroy & Boch Bicester Village store and its off-site stockroom. You'll ensure efficient stock management, support sales activities on the shop floor, and contribute to maintaining our high standards.
Your Key Responsibilities: As our Retail Stock Controller, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including:
- Stock Management: Processing all incoming deliveries efficiently and accurately. Managing stock transfers and location movement. Managing stock replenishment levels effectively and efficiently to maximise sales growth. Conducting regular stock audits. Ensure high standards of cleanliness and organisation on the shop floor and stockroom areas. Processing and shipment of customer orders.
- Store Support: Providing excellent customer service and supporting sales activities on the shop floor. Open and close the store. Assisting with ad-hoc projects, such as preparing for special events (e.g., Friends & Family events, seasonal launches).
- Operational Excellence: Prioritising and managing daily tasks effectively. Ensuring basic Health and Safety principles are followed within the stockroom areas.
What We're Looking For: We seek a candidate who is driven, takes ownership of their work, and can thrive both independently and as part of a team.
Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse or stockroom environment. Exceptional organisational and time management skills. Exceptional customer service and sales skills. Strong communication skills, particularly between off-site and store locations. PC literate, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel). A good standard of numeracy and literacy. Ability to use and apply your own initiative. A full clean driving licence is essential for travel between locations. Ability to learn quickly (full training will be provided).
Key Attributes: Flexibility to meet business needs, including covering holidays, working weekends, and some late shifts. A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Desirable: Existing product knowledge and market awareness would be an advantage.
