Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing retail sales within your designated territory through effective area management of existing customers and targeted acquisition of new customers. You will handle full category bathroom sales within a showroom environment and be responsible for sales of all new product introductions (NPI).
Tasks:- Work with the Sales Executives and Channel Director to develop a robust territory plan to enable area sales growth.
- Conduct business reviews covering sales analysis and showroom return on investment.
- Focus on the Premium Showroom Market by implementing the strategy for both the Villeroy & Boch and Atelier/ISI brands in your area, understanding brand positioning in the market and the demands of different types of customers.
- Work closely with appointed Distribution Partners.
- Sell in showroom displays across categories – full refits, shower boards, tap stands.
- Be a contributing member of a fast-growing team, working cross-functionally when necessary.
- Attend bimonthly sales meetings, including the preparation of a report.
- Manage adherence to KPIs and company policies, including accurate and diligent use of Salesforce CRM.
- Support delivery of key customer initiatives within the customer showroom estate.
- Build and maintain good face-to-face working relationships with customers to create trust and identify sales opportunities.
- Commit to product knowledge, particularly regarding new product launches.
- Experience in a field sales role within the bathroom or construction sector preferred.
- Experience of creating and maintaining customer sales plans.
- Strong influencer with excellent negotiation skills, confident in building professional relationships quickly and influencing key stakeholders.
- Strong English and mathematical skills with the ability to analyse sales data.
- Good business acumen with the ability to articulate professionally face to face.
- Results driven, with the ability to work to deadlines and an understanding of channel priorities.
- Experience of Salesforce or other CRM software, with the ability to input accurately and effectively.
- Full driving license.
