We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Village Vets & Meadowbank, Liverpool Road on a full‑time basis. Village Vets & Meadowbank is a friendly and supportive practice committed to delivering high standards of patient care and excellent client service. Our practice offers a varied first opinion caseload, providing a great opportunity for nurses to be involved in all aspects of clinical care. This is an ideal role for a motivated RVN looking to develop their skills within a busy and rewarding environment.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

This is a hands‑on role where you will be involved in all aspects of nursing, including inpatient care, surgical assistance, anaesthesia monitoring, recovery, and nurse consultations. You will also play a key role in supporting preventative healthcare and maintaining excellent communication with clients. This is a full‑time role working 38 hours per week across a 4‑day working week, including a share of weekends and/or out‑of‑hours duties.

General responsibilities include:

  • Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied caseload
  • Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing
  • Provide excellent inpatient care and support patient recovery
  • Run nurse‑led clinics and support client education and preventative healthcare
