We have a great opportunity to join one of the UK's most successful independent travel companies as a part-time Receptionist. We are looking for someone to join our dedicated Reception team with a can-do outlook, excellent people and organisational skills who wants to be a part of a successful, dynamic company with a family feel. The role is part-time, 2/3 days a week, 8.30 - 5.30, based in our office in London Bridge.

The role:

  • Representing the business with a positive attitude and professional appearance
  • Organising and maintaining the Reception area, meetings room, canteen
  • Answer, screen, forward incoming calls and logging messages
  • Greeting and signing in/out guests
  • Maintaining front door security, controlling access via the Reception desk
  • Administrative tasks including updating client database, scanning and photocopying
  • Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries and prepare outgoing mail
  • Building maintenance – arranging trades etc.
  • Ordering supplies when required for the maintenance of our buildings
  • Issuing Security access cards for members of staff and guests if required
  • Booking and preparing meeting rooms including serving refreshments
  • Organising transport/taxis/couriers on behalf of staff and/or clients
  • Interacting and assisting other departments with ad-hoc tasks
  • Basic domestic maintenance of the kitchens and break-out area
  • Collaborate with colleagues and collate information to create a quarterly newsletter for the company

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 12 months experience as a receptionist
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate. Proficient in Microsoft Office Word/Excel and ability to adapt and learn new platforms and processes
  • Adaptable and able to work under pressure
  • Ability to work on own and as part of a team
  • Must be flexible and able to cover at short notice annual leave and sickness

The Receptionist role is based in our head office at London Bridge situated within easy reach of several mainline and underground stations.
