We are looking for an experienced and motivated CNC Turner / Programmer to join our expanding precision engineering division in Rotherham. You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Haas / Hankook lathes and supporting both prototype and production machining for our engineered valve and pipeline product range. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a modern, well-equipped CNC facility using the latest Fusion 360 CAM software and Haas / Hankook multi‑axis equipment.

The Duties of a CNC Turner Programmer:

  • Programming, setting, and operating Haas CNC machines (DS‑30Y, ST‑40, VTL1400).
  • Using Fanuc controls.
  • Producing finished components to quality requirements.
  • Working to tight limits in a high‑precision environment.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations, including workspace housekeeping.

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience programming and setting CNC lathes (multi‑axis).
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and CAD models.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Fusion 360 CAM software.
  • Strong knowledge of Haas/Fanuc G‑ and M‑code programming.
  • Skilled in machining stainless steel, duplex, aluminium, and engineering plastics.
  • Confidence in using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges, CMM).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, safety‑first approach.

Hours: Day shift: Mon – Thurs: 8am – 5pm, Fri: 8am – 1pm
