Applications are now being accepted for the position of full‑time Police Officer for the Village of Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. We currently have one opening for this position.
- Full‑time starting wage is $34.85 an hour ($38.14 after probation).
- Excellent benefits, health, dental, and life insurance.
Successful applicants must have:
- A Two‑Year Associate Degree or 60 college credits from a Wisconsin Vocational Education or Technical District or its accredited equivalent from another state.
- Good physical condition and moral character.
- No felony or domestic violence convictions.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
- Certification or eligibility for certification with the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Board is preferred.
Lateral Transfer opportunities up to the 7‑year level are available for qualifying candidates.
