You are the ultimate host, predominantly driving the energy in our Pub and Grill, but flexible enough to jump into any Food and Beverage department when the wider team needs you. Whether you are pouring drinks for the local football crowd, serving a celebratory dinner, or helping out with a morning event, you read your customers perfectly and make every guest feel like they are sitting in your own home.
At Village, we do hospitality a little differently. We are all about personality, genuine connections, and creating great experiences for our guests and each other. That is why we back our teams to be themselves, take ownership, learn new skills, and grow their careers.
Previous experience is great, but your attitude and energy matter much more to us. If you are friendly, positive, love working with people, and enjoy being part of a busy team, we will give you all the support, training, and opportunities you need.
As our Pub and Grill Team Member, you are the engine of the shift. We trust you to handle:
- The Flexible Service: Delivering a brilliant experience primarily in the Pub and Grill, but confidently floating across other Food and Beverage departments to support your colleagues when the hotel gets busy.
- The Atmosphere & Standards: Taking huge pride in your bar. You know that prepping your section, understanding the drinks and food menus inside out, and maintaining flawless hygiene standards are the foundations of a smooth shift.
- The Commercial Drive: Treating every interaction as a chance to add value. You resolve issues swiftly on the spot and naturally suggest that extra side dish or premium drink, boosting both our guest satisfaction scores and the overall profitability of the hotel.
We do not micromanage. It takes a village, so we believe in Ownership & Integrity, giving you the autonomy to handle your area and make decisions on the fly. We Empower & Elevate our people. If you want Room to Grow, we provide funded qualifications and internal moves. We constantly Innovate & Progress so we can Inspire Excellence and smash our targets together.
We offer benefits such as:
- 2 x complimentary gym memberships at your home hotel.
- Hotel rooms from £20 across 35 hotels.
- 50% off food and drink for you and up to 5 guests, plus 75% off Sunday dinner for up to 6 people.
