V Hotels are looking for Christmas Coordinators to join the team from now through to the end of December 2025 to promote and coordinate parties, private events, pub and grill parties, family gatherings and children’s events for our Christmas Programme.
Responsibilities
- Assist with sales planning to target attendees at each event.
- Outreach activity to local businesses and organisations including business parks, retail parks, schools, colleges and sports clubs.
- Internal promotional activity within the hotel to create interest and secure new bookings (e.g., leisure club member plans, lobby hosting).
- Make proactive telephone calls to past and potential customers to secure bookings and answer queries.
- Upsell telephone calls to guests staying over the Christmas period.
- Assist in coordinating events including chasing payments, menu and drink choices, and handling special requests.
- Learn and use the booking systems, updating sales system accurately and timely.
- Research and act on exposure opportunities on local organisations’ intranets, social media and promotional forums.
- Update sales system with daily figures: input new ticket sales and reconcile payments.
- Chase final balance payments.
Qualifications
- Outgoing, personable character.
- Target focused.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Attention to detail.
- Confidence on the telephone and face-to-face with clients.
- Knowledge of social media.
- Good written English.
- Experience in customer service (hospitality not required).
