At Village, we do hospitality a little differently. We are all about personality, genuine connections, and creating great experiences for our guests and each other. That is why we back our teams to be themselves, take ownership, learn new skills, and grow their careers. Previous experience is great, but your attitude and energy matter much more to us. If you are friendly, positive, love working with people, and enjoy being part of a busy team, we will give you all the support, training, and opportunities you need.
We live our culture through four simple commitments:
- We Can & We Do: We show up to make a genuine difference and do fantastic work every day, with purpose. We maintain the highest possible standard of cleanliness and customer service so that our people, products, and service are memorable.

- We Care: We care about our impact on guests, the community, and each other. We respect our guests' privacy at all times and assist everyone in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
As our Leisure Assistant, you are the engine of the shift. We trust you to handle:
- Poolside Safety: Maintaining poolside cover as appropriate during your shift, responding to poolside alarms, and taking immediate action in any emergency.
- Squeaky Clean Standards: Carrying out routine and periodic cleaning to ensure the club meets and exceeds statutory requirements, so our members can relax knowing the facilities are spotless.
- Sharp Observation: Checking all areas to ensure standard "extras" are in place, dealing with lost property, and reporting any damage, wear and tear, or defects to the maintenance team immediately.

- Compliance & Security: Having full knowledge of COSHH regulations for cleaning materials and confidently operating the hotel's emergency, cash handling, and security procedures.
