Responsible for supporting sales teams and reporting to the Leisure National Sales Manager. The role involves traveling to multiple sites across the business to support onsite sales teams in delivering membership sales to agreed targets.

Purpose of the Role: Support ‘in need’ sales teams in delivering membership sales, sharing information about facilities with prospective new members, and signing them up.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Results & Financial Performance: Deliver membership sales to agreed individual and team targets.
  • Quality: Be aware of promotional activities and ensure they are implemented correctly. Focus on the aims and requirements of potential members.
  • Great Service: Assist members and prospective members in a friendly and professional manner. Monitor member and guest satisfaction.
  • Leadership: Provide vision, motivate, and evaluate individuals and the team.
  • Management and Development: Support in the training of talented individuals and conduct performance reviews.
  • Statutory Compliance: Support the team in achieving and maintaining high standards in service and Health & Safety.

Essential:

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Self-starter and driven.
  • Able to travel and stay away from home regularly.

Desirable:

  • Experience in managing, training, and coaching a sales team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • 2+ years experience in leisure membership sales.
  • Confident using computers, including Google Workspace.
