Responsible for supporting sales teams and reporting to the Leisure National Sales Manager. The role involves traveling to multiple sites across the business to support onsite sales teams in delivering membership sales to agreed targets.
Key Accountabilities:
- Results & Financial Performance: Delivering membership sales to agreed individual & team targets, treating the business as if it were your own.
- Quality: Be fully aware of all promotional activities to ensure they are correctly implemented and actioned. Focus on precise aims and requirements of potential members and offer advice to match the package to the individual.
- Great Service: Assist members and prospective members in a friendly, courteous and professional manner. Monitor member and guest satisfaction using reflective feedback and deal with complaints politely.
- Leadership: Provide vision, motivate and evaluate individuals and the team. Role model our standards relentlessly.
- Management and Development of Talented People: Support in the training of talented individuals and complete coaching & performance reviews to develop individuals for career progression.
- Statutory Compliance: Support all members of the team to achieve and maintain high standards in service and Health & Safety.
Essential:
- Proven track record of working towards and achieving sales targets.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Self-starter & driven.
- Able to travel and stay away from home on a regular basis.
Desirable:
- Experience in managing, training & coaching a sales team.
- Strong communication skills.
- 2+ years experience of working in leisure membership sales.
- Confident using computers, including the use of Google Workspace.
