Village Early Education Baranduda is a beautiful Long Day Care Centre surrounded by scenic views of the local hills and farmland. Baranduda is located a short 10 minutes from Wodonga. Village Early Education Baranduda caters for 113 children per day across five classrooms, including a funded three and four-year-old kindergarten program. We have a large onsite kitchen with two incredible chefs providing delicious and nutritious meals for all children.

We are looking for passionate Early Childhood Educators to join our growing team! With an extensive waitlist, Village Early Education Baranduda is the centre of choice for families within the region. You will be joining a team with great family and community connections who take pride in the care and education they provide.

As an early childhood educator, you will work collaboratively with the team to deliver a play-based, child-led learning program. Our centre prides itself on implementing a community leader management structure which allows for an abundance of mentorship and support. Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement engaging and educational programs tailored to the needs and interests of children.
  • Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that supports positive interactions and relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Observe and document children’s progress and development, and use this information to plan and adjust educational activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the centre and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
  • Working with Children Check and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Previous experience in an early childhood education setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Passion for early childhood education and a genuine interest in supporting the development of young children.
