The Ministry Associate helps create an exceptional volunteer and guest experience at Village Church by recruiting, equipping, and supporting volunteer leaders and teams. This role is passionate about building healthy teams, developing leaders, and creating welcoming environments on Sundays and during midweek ministry opportunities. The ideal candidate is relational, organized, adaptable, and excited about helping people use their gifts to serve the church and grow in their faith.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, support, and develop volunteer leaders and teams
- Foster a strong culture of serving, appreciation, and teamwork
- Help create excellent guest experiences for Sunday services and major events
- Collaborate on ministry planning, scheduling, strategy, and budgeting
- Lead and support ministry events and volunteer onboarding experiences
- Maintain accurate volunteer records and communication through Village Church platforms
- Support emergency preparedness and serve as Incident Coordinator
- Manage ministry supplies and equipment
- Participate in Village-wide events, leadership development, and regional collaboration
- Step into leadership support roles as needed
