We’re looking for a passionate, relational pastor to lead Village Youth across all sites. This role focuses on developing youth staff and leaders, shaping teaching content, supporting families, and helping students grow as followers of Jesus. You will also serve on the Family Ministry Leadership Team to help guide the broader Family Ministries strategy.
Part-time: 24 hours/week
Schedule: Flexible mix of home/office; evening work required
What You’ll Do
- Provide church-wide oversight for Village Youth.
- Lead, mentor, and disciple youth staff and volunteer leaders.
- Collaborate with the Family Ministry Director to build effective systems and operations for Youth.
- Develop 24–36 weeks of sermon outlines and small-group content used across all sites.
- Equip leaders to navigate hard conversations with students in a gospel-centered way.
- Create and support pathways for youth leader development and student leadership.
- Teach parent classes that support partnership between church and home.
- Oversee planning and execution of youth camps, retreats, and key events.
- Contribute to a healthy team culture marked by prayer, joy, collaboration, and gratitude.
- Demonstrate servant leadership, spiritual maturity, and a commitment to ongoing growth.
