The Freedom Session Administrator is responsible for overseeing the execution of the Freedom Session and Authentic Living program. They are committed to the care of all the Facilitators and Participants and work closely with the Director and Core Team.
Key Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the Ministry Pastor, recruit a Director, Facilitators and a Core Team that represent trusted Village Church members.
- Ensure every person in these roles is an advocate and ambassador for Village Church and portrays alignment with Village Church leadership and core beliefs.
- Manage timely Freedom Session promotion (website, newsletter, stage announcements etc.).
- Manage participant applications, facilitator interviews and sponsor processes, including all correspondence.
- Plan and ensure completion of training for all qualified facilitators.
- Ongoing weekly emails, coaching and care of facilitators and participants.
- Support and encourage the facilitators through weekly briefings, team events and appreciation gifts.
- Manage the back end administration such as process queues, mail merges, Village Connect forms, book sales, EZ office orders, etc.
- Co-project lead grad with another Discipleship staff member.
- Work cross department with staff as needed for things like cross night, grad, training, etc.
- Oversee the Hospitality volunteer and maintain needed supplies.
- Organize the cycle calendar.
- Oversee the budget.
- Maintain the integrity and safety of Freedom Session at Village Church by keeping confidentiality; keeping open communication with the Ministry Pastor, but the Core Team only as appropriate for those directly involved in situations.
- Maintain integrity and safety by also ensuring participants engage with the weekly sessions appropriately and maintain respectful and safe behavior within their small group.
- Maintain the no cross talk guideline.
- Bi-weekly meeting with the Ministry Pastor.
What Success Looks Like
- Cycles are well administrated and organized creating a confidence in the care for the program.
- Competent and committed FS facilitator and Director teams are grown that serve consistently and recruit and train new team members.
- We are graduating at least 50 participants a year.
- Participants come out of the cycle knowing God and His character more and having had a life changing encounter with Him.
- Facilitators known and prayed for as they do ministry in the front lines.

- Is a member of Village Church and in alignment with core beliefs.
- Has a committed and growing relationship with Christ.
- Mature and trustworthy. Demonstrating self-control and discernment.
- Past FS Facilitator experience.
- Team player and has a heart for discipleship and care for leaders.
- Strong organizational, administrative and time management skills.
- A generally joyful person to be around.
- Understands and is able to articulate the vision of Freedom Session and Village Church.
Work Week
This is a contract role to run one Freedom Session and Authentic Living cycle per calendar year at Village Church. (FS starting in September and AL starting mid April) The bulk of the work is within July to May. Attendance at FS nights and grad is mandatory. Weekly work can be done remotely.
Vacation: 3 weeks pro rated for 44 weeks
Salary: $11,306 salaried over 44 weeks (ie. approx. $256.95/week for 44 weeks)
Contract term: June 23, 2026 - April 22, 2027
