The Department
The Content and Digital Team sits within the wider Commercial department and plays a central role in creating and delivering exceptional content and coverage that reflects our identity and engages and resonates with our fans across the world helping to bring our stories to life. Working alongside the wider team, the Content and Digital Team help drive fan engagement, connect supporters with the Club and showcase all aspects that make the Club special – on and off the pitch.
The Role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Content Co-Ordinator who will be responsible for the planning, production and delivery of world-class content that supports the Club's digital, commercial and brand objectives. This will be a dynamic and varied role in a fast-paced environment where no two days will look the same. You will be a vital member of the Content team, supporting the development, planning and co-ordination of the Club's content production schedule across all our platforms including social platforms, VillaTV, and our podcast as well as our season content campaigns. You will also attend and support any content shoots as and when required to ensure smooth and efficient operation acting as an ambassador for the Club. One of your main responsibilities will be acting as the central liaison between the Content Department, First Team and wider stakeholders to co-ordinate all First Team player access for content opportunities ensuring the requests are managed efficiently whilst respecting performance schedules. You will also be involved in our Matchday Live Show – co-ordinating hosts, commentators and technical support and working closely with the Head of Content and Digital Media on running orders, scripting and live show delivery.
The Person
We are looking for a content professional with a desire to help enhance coverage, content and engage our fans with proven experience in a similar Content Producer / Co-Ordinator role, ideally within football, sports organisation or media environment. You will need to have experience of producing or co-ordinating digital content for live events, sports or entertainment. You will need to have excellent organisation, planning and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple creative projects effectively and make effective and quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. In this role you will need to be able to build strong relationships quickly with both internal and external stakeholders so you will need strong communication skills which are clear, concise and accurate and be confident in liaising with a range of different people. You must also be available to work flexibly as this role will require you to work matchdays which take place across evenings and weekends and you will need to hold a full UK driving licence or have the ability to travel between our Club sites.
