We are looking for a Product Manager & Sourcing Specialist who will take ownership of our clothing assortment and help build Vilgain’s sustainable fashion line from the ground up. This is a combined product management and sourcing role, ideal for someone who understands apparel not only from a creative point of view, but also from the perspective of suppliers, production, timelines, and commercial performance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Owning Vilgain’s clothing assortment and helping build our sustainable fashion line from the ground up
- Combining product management and sourcing responsibilities in one role
- Shaping the assortment and planning SKUs across the category
- Sourcing and managing the right manufacturing partners across Europe and Asia
- Leading supplier negotiations and building long‑term partnerships
- Following production timelines, quality, and delivery to ensure smooth launches
- Driving products from idea to launch in close cooperation with suppliers and internal teams
- Keeping the category commercially healthy, with strong focus on margin, sell‑through, and overall product performance
About You:
- You have 3–5 years of experience in apparel buying, merchandising, sourcing, or a similar role
- You understand how clothing products are developed, sourced, and delivered in practice
- You bring an international supplier network, ideally across Asia and Europe
- You are confident navigating production and supply chain topics such as tech packs, lead times, and MOQs
- You have strong awareness of sustainability standards such as GOTS, OEKO‑TEX, or BCI
- Experience with sustainable or clean fashion brands is a strong advantage
- Keen eye for detail, strong sense of aesthetics, and focus on perfect execution without compromising on quality
- Independent, proactive, and able to meet deadlines while finding solutions within tight timelines
- High energy and strong drive to elevate fashion items to the Vilgain fit and quality standards
