We’re Vilgain – a fast-growing European food & lifestyle brand built on clean ingredients, functional nutrition, and strong community. We’re scaling across Europe and expanding our retail footprint. Now we’re looking for a Retail Architect / Designer who will shape how our brand comes to life in physical space. This role is about more than drawing layouts; it’s about creating an environment that reflects our DNA, supports performance, and elevates the customer experience.

This role is ideal for architects or retail designers who want to see their ideas implemented in real spaces with a clear health & commercial impact fast.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Design and optimize store layouts with a strong focus on customer flow, product presentation, visual identity, and commercial performance.
  • Develop and maintain scalable retail design standards and guidelines that ensure consistency while allowing flexibility for different store formats and locations.
  • Work closely with internal teams across retail, marketing, operations, and expansion, as well as with external architects, designers, and suppliers, to bring concepts into reality.
  • Support new store openings, refurbishments, and redesigns, overseeing design quality during implementation and continuously improving layouts based on feedback and data.

What you’ll need:

  • A background in architecture, interior design, retail design, or a related field, with hands‑on experience designing commercial or retail spaces.
  • Strong understanding of how physical space influences customer behaviour, experience, and sales, and the ability to balance aesthetics with functionality and operational needs.
  • Experience working with layouts, planograms, and technical documentation, and confidence using tools such as CAD, Figma, or 3D design software.
  • The ability to communicate design concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
  • A proactive, detail‑oriented mindset with the ability to take ownership of projects and see them through from concept to execution.

What we offer:

  • A role with real ownership and visible impact, where your work will directly shape how customers experience Vilgain in physical stores every day.
  • The opportunity to define and develop retail design standards for a fast‑growing international brand and see your ideas implemented in real environments.
  • Flexible working options, an open and supportive company culture, and close collaboration with ambitious, hands‑on teams.
  • Attractive employee benefits, including a generous discount on Vilgain products and the chance to grow professionally as the brand continues to expand.
  • Remote, hybrid London/Prague.
