At Vilgain, we create clean, functional products that are genuinely better than what already exists — and packaging is a key part of that story. We’re now looking for a Packaging Manager for a new role with real ownership. This is an opportunity for someone who is not afraid to take responsibility, set up processes, and help shape how packaging development works across the business.
What you’ll do:
- Define and evolve Vilgain’s long-term packaging vision, design systems, and visual language across food, supplements, and lifestyle categories.
- Own the creative direction of all packaging and lead projects from concept to production-ready output.
- Co-create innovative packaging solutions with the packaging technologist, balancing creative ambition with technical feasibility.
- Ensure consistency, continuous improvement, and innovation across the full packaging assortment.
- Maintain and strengthen Vilgain’s brand identity while challenging conventional packaging standards.
- Collaborate closely with product, quality, regulatory, and supply teams throughout the new product development process.
- Ensure packaging solutions meet quality, regulatory, cost, and scalability requirements across markets.
What you bring:
- Proven experience with packaging design with a strong, opinionated portfolio that shows clear design vision.
- Exceptional visual taste, typography skills, and attention to detail.
- A hands-on, ownership-driven mindset and the confidence to step into a new role where processes still need to be built and improved.
- Ability to move between detail and big-picture thinking and work across design, suppliers, and production.
- Ability to think in systems, not just individual designs.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator is a must).
- Confidence to own creative decisions and explain the “why” behind them.
- Experience in FMCG or food is a plus, but vision and creativity come first.
What you’ll get:
- A key role in Vilgain’s continued growth and global expansion.
- Real ownership and the opportunity to shape a new function from the ground up.
- Space to improve processes, raise standards, and make a visible impact.
- 28 days holiday plus public holidays.
- Flexible working hours — we care about outcomes, not unnecessary rules.
- Monthly credits to spend on our products.
- Hybrid setup.
