We’re looking for a visionary Packaging Designer to work closely with our Packaging Technologist and define the future look and feel of Vilgain products across international markets. This role is for someone with a strong design vision, bold ideas, and the ability to turn creative direction into real, scalable packaging that stands out on shelves and online. The role can be based in the UK or fully remote.
What will you do?
- Own and drive the creative vision for Vilgain packaging across food, supplements, and lifestyle products
- Define and evolve Vilgain’s packaging design direction, systems, and long-term visual language
- Co-create innovative packaging concepts with our Packaging Technologist, combining creativity with technical feasibility
- Push creative boundaries and challenge the status quo while staying true to the Vilgain brand
- Lead packaging design from early concept to final production-ready outputs
- Ensure strong visual consistency across SKUs, formats, and international markets
What should you bring?
- Proven experience as a Packaging Designer with a strong, opinionated portfolio that shows clear design vision
- Exceptional visual taste, typography skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to think in systems, not just individual designs
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator is a must)
- Confidence to own creative decisions and explain the “why” behind them
- Experience in FMCG or food is a plus, but vision and creativity come first
- Based in the UK or open to working fully remote
