Role Overview
As part of our Food & Beverage team on River vessels, the Chef de Rang ensures friendly and professional service in the restaurant, bar, lounge, and sundeck, meeting Viking Standards and Operating Procedures. The role reports to the Maître D’Hotel.
What You Will Do On Board
- Provide welcoming and sales-oriented service across various onboard venues.
- Ensure proper use of Wait Order System (WOS).
- Execute all food and beverage activities, including functions and special events.
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, bar, pantry, lounge, and sundeck according to HACCP standards.
- Participate in onboard training and daily menu presentations.
- Handle inventory, establish par levels, and assist in other departments as required.
