VIKING Life‑Saving Equipment in Liverpool is looking for a Liferaft Service Technician to join our dedicated service team.

As a key part of our operation, you’ll help ensure that our customers’ life‑saving equipment is maintained, inspected, and ready when it matters most. Every job you complete helps protect lives at sea — it doesn’t get more meaningful than that. 🌊🛟

What You’ll Do

  • Inspect, test, service, and repack inflatable liferafts and related safety equipment.
  • Follow SOLAS, IMO, and manufacturer standards to ensure full compliance.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and quality reports.
  • Work as part of a skilled team in a modern, approved service station.

What We’re Looking For

  • Mechanical or technical background — experience in liferaft or marine equipment service is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet quality standards under time pressure.
  • Training in liferaft servicing (VIKING or equivalent) is a plus, but we offer full training for the right candidate.
