We have an exciting career opportunity at Viking Commercials Ltd for a Mobile PSV / HGV Electrical Technician! If you are an experienced technician looking to join a modern, dynamic commercial vehicle specialist business, this could be the perfect role for you. Founded in 2024, Viking Commercials Ltd works as agents for a range of vehicle manufacturers and industry suppliers, supporting both national operators and independent businesses across the UK. Our core focus is on PSV electrical systems and advanced fault-finding, with additional HGV work being part of the role. We pride ourselves on being a growing, close-knit team which offers variety, support, and the chance to build a long-term career in a specialist business.
The Role: We are seeking an experienced mobile technician to carry out electrical diagnostics, fault finding, repairs, and installations across chassis and body systems. You will work independently in the field, but rest assured, you will be fully supported by our knowledgeable and growing team. This role is not a rigid 9–5 position, and we value work‑life balance, paying you from the moment you leave home until you return. Occasionally, overnight stays may be required by mutual agreement, with accommodation and meals provided. Very occasional weekend working may also be needed, typically no more than 1–2 Saturdays per year, and only in exceptional circumstances, and by prior agreement.
About You: You should be confident working with PSV electrical systems and skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex faults. You will need to be comfortable working on your own initiative, communicating professionally with customers, and contributing positively within our small, expanding business.
