An exciting opportunity has arisen for an After School Club Assistant to join Chilton Primary School's After School Club. You will enjoy working with the children and have a specific interest or experience in play work. You will be required to assist with a range of fun activities for the children attending the club. This role is ideal for those who genuinely have a passion for helping children and supporting our team to provide excellent provisions outside of the classroom for our pupils.
A specific interest in play work would be a bonus as we are looking to create positive, creative and imaginative experiences in a safe and stimulating environment for our pupils to engage them.
The successful candidate will be able to:
- Have an interest in play work and the play needs of children
- Be able to lead a variety of activities
- Be proactive and use their initiative
- Ensure they are able to differentiate activities to provide full inclusion for all abilities and age groups
- Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with pupils, parents/carers and colleagues
Above all you need to like children, to want the very best for them and be prepared to put their needs first. Children will be at the heart of your work. You must be able to demonstrate that you understand the importance of educating the whole child within a creative & innovative school setting.
Hours: 13.75 hours
Pay Grade: KSA
