About Us: VIKASO LTD is a UK-based start-up, specialising in the development and implementation of Collaborative Robot (Cobot) Solutions. Our innovative technologies are designed to enhance efficiency and productivity within the manufacturing industry. Our team is primarily composed of skilled engineers who are dedicated to delivering robust and easy-to-use solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Design & develop a Cobot application in CAD.
- Design & develop bespoke mechanical solutions for the project.
- Create a virtual simulation of the application.
- Electrical design of robotics applications, i.e. component selection and circuit design.
- Programming of industrial devices, e.g. PLCs, Safety Scanners, Vision Systems, Sensors.
- Creation of electrical schematics.
- Hardware implementation of control circuits.
- Cobot Programming.
- Arrange manufacturing of equipment and support build.
- Liaise with software engineer and project manager to keep in line with project scope & timeline.
- Support installation of Cobots at customers' site.
- Provide stand-by support to customer following commissioning of Cobots.
What we expect:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics/Controls/Robotics Engineering or equivalent.
- CAD & Simulation skills.
- Knowledge of programming & electrical systems.
- Mindset to innovate and go the extra mile.
- Attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Periodic business travel and a valid UK driving licence.
- Knowledge/Experience in Robotics/Cobots.
